I like the sound quality for my music taste. They have a "happy" sound signature - nice bass (not muddy), mids are slightly muffled, and highs are clear. The reason I gave these headphones 3 stars is the quality of the rubber. After about 4-6 months of daily use, the rubber material on the top half (where the ear pads attach) started to wear out. It has lost its strength and solid shape. A red oily liquid also came out. After a few months, this problem started to bother me, so I tore off the outer rubber. Luckily it still had another layer of shockproof wire protection and was still fully functional. I hope that this does not have a critical impact on the life of these things. In conclusion, I would recommend these headphones for the sound quality, but did make a point to be aware of for extended use. >> (I'll try to keep this updated if anything important happens.)
