This is exactly what you need to connect your phone to the AUX port. There are no problems with the sound quality. The cable is securely attached and does not dangle. My only complaint is that as it's a phone accessory it's not possible to use it to connect your headphones to your phone as it doesn't have a jack and you need a different cable to do that. It's not the cable's fault, just something I noticed and it would be nice to have both a male and female connector. The product still does what it's supposed to do unlike the smaller cables commonly sold which I bought when Samsung got rid of the aux port and was having audio issues and not holding securely in your phone. For a tight connection from the aux port to the phone, this cable is great.
