So I have a 2 year old labrador who just won't get off the couch no matter how much we exercise. I blame my dad for letting her stay over on a visit last winter! Anyway, our new dog trainer actually recommended her and told her we have empty boxes on the couch as a deterrent. We've been using it for 2-3 months now, I really like it! It's not sharp enough to cut. In fact, all three of us accidentally sat on it once without pain, but you still want to move because it's a bit uncomfortable. But it was a complete deterrent to our lab! She won't even put her paw on it. Best of all, the black color goes well with our dark brown sofa. No more unsightly boxes we have to run after to collect people.
