Because of the cotton, this duvet is thicker than my other duvets, but it's a little cooler than other fabrics. I really like the others because they are very soft, but this blanket is better for the southern heat because it is more breathable. It's a bit thick for carrying on the go, but great for a homemade blanket. I really like neutral colors. It could be a bit more "boyish colors" but neutral enough. I mostly stick to soft gray tones and only accentuate light colors on small objects. We like neutrals in common things because we're hoping to have a second girl in the near future, so it gives us some peace of mind to have some things we can use again without compromising on style.
