I cook for four and there are two of us. This is the perfect size. I used to buy Rubbermaid disposable plastic containers from the grocery store almost every week and they fill that void. Holds leftovers or even cooking. Remove the lid and serve from an attractive glass bowl. I hate plastic and am disgusted that the younger generation are using paper plates and plastic containers - so many lies about it that I am awake and concerned about climate change. They are perfect for your kitchen and allow you to take up a little less floor space.
