I've seen a lot of reviews about the lack of a mounting kit and have no idea what the issue is. There was a set of screws with drywall sockets and even an assembly template with instructions. Easily hung it on the wall in minutes and only needed a 1/4" drill bit and a screwdriver. The sound is good and much better than most of my other speakers. A stereo cable (right/left) was included for headphone connections and an optical cable for the tv. Also works with Bluetooth and USB so I have no complaints for $50!The remote control is fairly basic but it shouldn't be fancy.It takes 2 AAA batteries which were included. everything I needed (except a drill and a screwdriver for wall mounting) was in the box, even the cables. The perfect gift for a TV or games console!
