All in all it was a great find. I draw A LOT on my iPad and the empty glass was too smooth causing frustration. There is just enough grain in this film to add a somewhat realistic paper feel and help the pencil capture the screen. Is it like real paper? Not really, but it's definitely an improvement. If you want the real feel of paper, you'll probably have to go old school and get a graphite pencil and paper. The only downside, as someone mentioned in another review, is that the film speeds up pencil point degradation. Again, I draw on them a lot, so if you're a more moderate user, they'll last longer. Pencil tips are sold by Apple for around $19 for a pack of 4, so I see them as consumables, much like replacing real pencils or buying more real paper. I would definitely buy again and have recommended this film to several friends.
