Review on πŸ’» Perixx PERIPAD-504 USB Touchpad: Large Size, Portable Trackpad for Desktop and Laptop Users by Tony Conlon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Both sizes are "good ", neither is "great ".

Tried both sizes in this ad (Revain seems to combine reviews). None of these are "great", but they are one of the few wired USB touchpads available that I could find (wireless wouldn't suit my needs). Double-sided tape is used around the bottom area of the buttons, making it much easier to use by avoiding accidental presses while making the buttons easy to find and use. If I could find a way to get used to it or reduce the height/thickness that would be perfect. Large touchpad - I got it first. Pros: + Large, user-friendly interface + Large, easy-to-press buttons + Wired USB - reliable, no battery issues, no interference + Works with built-in drivers in Windows and Linux. Touchpad - Second touchpad I tried: Pros: + Good height/thickness + Buttons protected by bezel edge + Wired USB - reliable, no batteries, no glitches + Works with built-in drivers in Windows and Linux Cons: - Too many edge gestures that are too easy to accidentally press - Buttons are smaller and harder to find/press - Difficult to pull, buttons are small and difficult to hold with thumb in one hand - Small usable touch area, making navigation across multiple monitors difficult.
