Good but not magical with molded support cushions

Finding a good seat cushion is very tiring. And VERY subjective. Even among people of the same build and weight, one may or may not like what the other praises. has a "gel" center. But my buttocks were very disappointed. Then I thought I should try foam and people say it has magic memory foam. After sitting on it for hours, I was less and less satisfied. Discovery seat cover (zipper) I could see it has 2 layers of foam. The upper is like a lighter version of memory foam. I'm not sure but I think memory foam comes in 2 or more different densities. If so, then this is one of the smaller versions. The bottom (and thicker) layer is slightly thicker than the top of the "memory foam". on me. For someone using a much lighter weight, this will probably suffice. In desperation, I placed it on a 3 inch Drive Medical pad. A little better, but again no fun. Of the two, I think I prefer these over the Drive Medical gel versions. For a reason, Drive Medical's gel seat feels like I'm sitting on a plastic-covered cushion. I don't get the plastic induced sweat on this one like the other one. I personally would give 3 stars. But for people with less weight that would be normal. I think if I put a closed foam pad underneath like the ones kids use, that might be acceptable to me.
