I'm pretty sure this product sent my son to the ER. It contains persulfate, a chemical that causes stomach pain, vomiting, cramps, and low blood pressure. My son soaked the retainer in the solution for several hours before wearing it at night. The next morning, my husband and I went to the store and returned home to find my son lying on the floor, covered in vomit, disoriented and incoherent. He spent two days in the hospital undergoing all sorts of tests including a blood test, EEG, echocardiogram, lumbar puncture, EKG, brain CT and MRI, and chest CT. Everything was good. When I got home I was in his bathroom, saw the box of detergent and realized that was the only unusual product he was using. I went online, started searching and found out how dangerous this product is and that my son is having the same reaction. This is poison.
