I read a review from a customer who lost his watch in the sea, it really sucks. I put the tape on and it's hard to imagine this thing going to come loose, but we'll see. First impressions are that it's more comfortable than Garmin's. ***Update*** It's been over 3 months now and I have to say I love it and will be ordering more colors. I've never had the durability or quality issues mentioned in several other reviews. To be honest, I think those of us who aren't trolls who bought this did so for the same reason. The Garmins group collapses. It's rigid and uncomfortable, has a design flaw that leads to premature failure. And oh yes, the price is typically Garmin too high.
