Good for tooth sensitivity and gum recession

I've never had an electric toothbrush because I didn't want to spend more than $100 on something I could spend $1 on and get the same result while being a fairly more skilled one Cleanser. The dentist keeps finding that my gum line is receding on some teeth and hesitantly recommends an electric toothbrush. I like going to the dentist, but haven't for over a year. I've started exposing the root of several teeth because I'm brushing too hard with too much pressure. It used to never bother me but 2 months ago I started having tooth sensitivity and noticed recession sensitive teeth are deeper. I felt the temperature of hot coffee, cold water, mint toothpaste, and mouthwash. Everyone. TBH, I didn't even want to brush my teeth anymore because I didn't want to touch those roots. I decided to afford this toothbrush in hopes that it would save my teeth from decay, fallout and the need for implants in my 30's. After the first cleaning I was amazed. This machine should have cleaned my teeth better no matter how meticulous or experienced I was with a manual toothbrush. This must also be done carefully so as not to damage the gums. After two weeks of use, I no longer have tooth sensitivity and wouldn't be surprised if the pockets at the gum line became less deep as well. I'm a big fan of the red ring that appears when you apply too much pressure. I think the app is fun and I love seeing the quadrants turn bright white. If you are stubborn like me and dislike electric toothbrushes. Break. Put off upgrading your phone and spend money here instead. This thing will save your teeth better than you ever could. I worked in an orthodontist's office and taught children to brush their teeth. I thought I was a pro at it. To an extent I might have been, but this toothbrush makes it so easy you can't brush "wrong". Give Oral-B your money. It's worth it.
