I have mixed feelings about this now. I just got it last night and can only pair it with a Philips headset, not a Plantronics Legend headphone or Renny speaker. But the distance is phenomenal. With the Xmitter I previously had, I could sit on my patio and get in and out less than 30 feet away. It allows me to walk at least 50 feet in my yard and hear a clear, stable signal. For that I leave it, even if it gets uncomfortable with headphones in summer. I will do my best to get others involved. ***** UPDATE ***** This device now has 10 stars! I found a procedure from Miccus if you're having trouble pairing and it worked like a charm. I've paired my Plantronics and my Renny and they're both 50 feet apart like a bell. I don't know the page, I printed it out. 1. Turn off USB power for 20 seconds. 2. Reconnect the power supply and turn it on. 3. Immediately press and hold the RX button (Yes, RX) for 5 seconds and release. It should blink red and blue. 4. Turn RTX off and on again. 5. Press and hold the TX button for 5 seconds until it flashes red and blue. 6. Turn on the pairing device and complete pairing. Hope this helps others, it worked for me and I love it!
