The device is really worth the money. Performance is no worse than ultrasonic, and even higher. Plus, it partially removes dust from the air (gray dust and small midges that are found in flower pots float in the pan at the bottom =). At the minimum speed, it is not audible, there is no need for night mode (in night mode it is not audible at all). Does not spoil the surrounding space with a white coating, as ultrasonic humidifiers do. HEPA filters pulled out, because. there is no special meaning in them, and the fan performance decreases. Pretty simple design in terms of maintenance (washing and cleaning).
