Awkward for left-side USB-C ports

While searching for a USB-C hub, I found one that had everything I needed. I ordered that. When connecting, I noticed that all ports are facing inwards towards the computer. Not outside where they would be available. I went back and looked at the product images and noticed that they were all connected to a laptop with a USB-C port on the right side. If that strikes me, I would look for a different hub. Still use it, but if you only have left-side USB-C ports, then I'll tell you it's not very convenient to connect devices.
