I used several of these bulbs to repair a light fixture that was using a halogen bulb. I bought this size for ease of swapping, which worked great. The only trick to note is that the wiring harness for my outdoor lighting required correct polarity of the LEDs. Once the light was assembled, all I had to do was touch the wires from the light to my 12v harness to see which connections made the light work. I am very impressed with how bright these lights are.
