Review on ASUS X570 Plus Motherboard paired with VG248QG Monitor – A Dynamic Duo for High Performance Gaming and Productivity by Troy Hurst

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A stable, affordable motherboard for 2019 that will continue to be strong in 2021 thanks to the latest Ryzen processors.

It was very stable. My initial configuration had some RGB memory and a Ryzen 5 2600. The RGB memory wasn't working well so I checked their HCL (Hardware Compatibility List) on the ASUS website. Sorry, your QVL (Qualified Vendor List). and settled on the memory of the Corsair LPX 3600. Revane understood. I was also one of the first to promote Corsair on the internet. And I'm one of the first to say that ASUS is one of the best manufacturers. before Google or Revain even existed. So it goes well together! I recently updated my BIOS to version 4002, bought a new graphics card and then replaced it with the 2021 update. Most of my photos are from a 2019 setup, but the 5900X pops up sporadically at the end. Problems with this board: Memory slots and the default Ryzen fan interfere. So if you have more memory and slower processors with fans, you may need to be careful when rotating the fans and heatsinks so they don't hit the memory. I like Corsair LPX because they are shorter. I was also able to get them screaming at 3600MHz (their XMP rating) after installing the 5900X. And instead of my original 16GB I now have 32GB and they work well at the higher speeds supported by the 5900X. I'm using Doc OverClock and the recommended storage settings. Although I had major problems with a measly 2600 with any overclocking settings, the powerful processor gets everything done quickly. If PCIe 4.0 devices become more common in the next year, this system will still be relevant. Although I have some doubts about the layout and some features of the motherboard, I'm very happy with this price. I'm looking forward to switching to Samsung NVMe storage. Tip: Always check your ASUS QVL for processor and memory compatibility.
