The water is not heated enough

I bought this model because of its compact size and durability. He definitely passed these requirements. It includes features I would like to see in more residential focused models such as: B. a minimalist design and a cup placement sensor. Unfortunately, he can't do what he does best, namely boil water so hot that the coffee tastes just right. This unit appears to be factory limited to 180F (tested with an accurate thermal pen). In this range, coffee is semi-sharp, acidic and cloudy. By the time it hits your cup, you're at 160 (and that's in a pre-heated cup). This happens with every coffee, even if you grind your beans and use aeropress/pour etc. You need to get it up to 190 not only to get a hot cup but to avoid that acidic area. I don't mind a mild, diluted cup of snack coffee if that's all I have available at the time, so K-Cups are an option for my spillage if that's convenient at the time. But sometimes things are so bad that it becomes gross to endure. Warm, sour coffee is far worse than a cup of hot, bitter coffee in a break room. Perhaps this machine was specifically designed for the hotel's branded K-cups. Or maybe people just don't care what they're drinking in a hotel room. I do not know. I just don't want to every day.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Something is wrong
