Everything described above happened on the latest BIOS version and on the latest drivers downloaded from the official site! That is, there are two options: either I was very unlucky with my copy and something in it did not work as it should, or the problem is in raw and crooked software. I am more inclined to the second option and, most likely, I will continue to bypass the laptops of this company. Although, in fairness, we must pay tribute to the official Asus store - they took the laptop back without any wrangling and promptly returned the money.
