Description of 15.6" Laptop ASUS ROG STRIX G15 G513QY-HQ007 2560x1440, AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX 3.3GHz, RAM 16GB, SSD 512GB, AMD Radeon RX 6800M, no OS, 90NR06X4-M00570, black

ROG Strix G15 is a gaming platform for the mainstream user. With a powerful configuration, this laptop is suitable for a wide range of tasks. Its display is available in two variants: esports grade 300Hz refresh rate or high resolution WQHD. Both options have a low response time (3 ms) and support Adaptive-Sync. The optimized cooling system ensures stable performance under heavy loads, so the ROG Strix G15 will allow you to show all your skills in any gaming situation! The eSports aesthetic comes through in every color option: stealthy black, stylish gray and flashy electropunk. With a 7% slimmer chassis compared to the previous model, the laptop is adorned with all kinds of decorative elements right down to the bottom panel, so this portable device will look great from any point of view. To add even more color, the Aura backlight, made in the form of a metal ROG logo, built into the keys of the keyboard and continued in the illumination strip running along the edges of the case, will help to add more color. The laptop combines the durability needed for everyday use with a sporty style. The aluminum cover provides excellent shock protection, while also allowing the screen bezel to be further thinned. The plastic case under the wrists stays cooler during marathon gaming runs. A lined-texture inlay along the bottom panel holds the laptop securely in place while you play, and keeps it from slipping out of your fingers when you carry it around. The laptop is powered by a 90 Wh battery for long battery life. When it is depleted, recharging will be possible not only from an electrical outlet, but also from compatible external batteries via the USB-C connector. In addition to the standard charger, you can use a compact version with a USB-C connector and a power of up to 100 W, which is suitable for both a laptop and a smartphone while traveling.

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

From the ratings, I assumed it would be a disposable plastic toy. However, the magnesium and carbon fiber construction makes it seem even better than Alienware. When I first saw MMVI on the rear of the grill, I was confused. That this was the year ROG was established boggled my mind. It was confirmed that the birth year of this brand was 2022. It turns out that my dislike of Jesus is well founded. The laptop stopped working on day two. Not even stress tests, intensive games, or mining were…

Pros
  • Components, construction, and functionality. The movie is "almost uncut," and the ssd is lightning quick; Windows boots up in "2 seconds" (I purchased ad-free for $1199.90). The majority of the time (while performing "everyday tasks"), it makes no noise (the turntables are not spinning).
Cons
  • Extremely loud when set to the "light" setting. It seems like four years have passed since they were left in the dust. However, with heavy use, the noise level is even lower than that of Alienware. Extreme heat (56 degrees) when not in use. The fans are usually silent, so this is merely a side effect. You'll need to acquire a docking station because there aren't any USB ports on the right side. The primary problem was that it only lived for two days before dying.

Everything described above happened on the latest BIOS version and on the latest drivers downloaded from the official site! That is, there are two options: either I was very unlucky with my copy and something in it did not work as it should, or the problem is in raw and crooked software. I am more inclined to the second option and, most likely, I will continue to bypass the laptops of this company. Although, in fairness, we must pay tribute to the official Asus store - they took the laptop…

Pros
  • I took it in the official Asus store for 119k. Config: Ryzen 7 5800H/16GB/1TB SSD/RTX 3060/144hz So, from the advantages: - Interesting appearance - Decent performance - Fast SSD Seems like a decent sound. It was not possible to fully understand due to marriage (see below)
