A few years ago I bought a 1080P video projector. I have about 14 terabytes of video content and Android TVs can't display that much content. They display about 10 files at a time and have consistently encountered problems with new video codecs. PC is the best type of video player because you can open the video folder and see all the content quickly, and I've never had problems with new codecs not playing. I had a dedicated PC connected to my main TV to record and play back 2000 shows. So I threw out the digital player boxes and got myself a Linux Odroid XU4 unit, a very small 8-core PC with an HDMI output and a couple of USB ports. ports. It worked great until recently when the HDMI output became icy static. I was tempted to just build a new desktop PC for the projector, but the size of the PC put me off. I decided to take a look at these mini Windows PCs. The price is ok and it worked great. The sound quality is acceptable through Good Amp. And movies and TV shows look perfect. I'm using a medium-sized keyboard with a built-in mouse pad. While I don't use this traditional Windows PC, I think it would be great for those who want a regular PC. I doubt it would be very good for today's intense video games. I tried solitaire. It plays big, high bitrate movies so well, although it should work with all the other things a PC is used for. It comes with a small bracket that allows you to mount the box on the back of the monitor. I installed it under the projector shelf. My old Odroid had a small power supply, so I used a powered 4 port USB hub to power the three 2.5" USB sticks I used to plug in. Two 5 terabyte and one 4 terabyte hard drives. So I use the same hub on this mini windows pc. The power supply is also small.
