I like the design of this GK Mini more than other Beelink PCs I've reviewed, it's a more modern version of their previous design. The only thing missing is a USB-C port on the front, which to be honest isn't the most important thing to me since it's mostly a data-only port (i.e. no video output or charging). Upgrading my old Plex server and very happy with the results. It has all the ports I need and works like a champ. The last one was TOO tiny and a bit tricky to set up (windows error during install, hdmi stopped video output sometimes and other weird issues) but this one works fine, no problems so far. I'm sure it can work as a simple backup or emulation device as well, but for now I'm happy with it being my Plex/Media server.

A few years ago I bought a 1080P video projector. I have about 14 terabytes of video content and Android TVs can't display that much content. They display about 10 files at a time and have consistently encountered problems with new video codecs. I was surprised how well/quickly they get online after a cold boot. I upgraded the memory and it only added a minor performance boost when running 4k videos from a high-end drone, but I was expecting it to drop the bait (tee).
