The wide straps and velcro were different than my previous kits and initially it didn't seem to fit comfortably. But I wear them over compression knee pads and throughout the day as my body learned to adjust to the difference they felt comfortable. Love how they fit, STAY IN PLACE and provide some much needed knee protection on concrete. Floors. The straps and fit have held up well so far and I've seen minimal wear on the outside of the knee pad. I believe I should get at least 6 months of good wear out of them and it will match the previous brand I have used. I hope to wear it for at least 9-12 months.
