It's amazing how expensive hardware stores charge for special blue bins. On the other hand, you can find nice big black trash cans for a very cheap price. I bought a couple of these stickers and stuck them to the sides of a black recycling bin and the viola is now a recycling bin. They are holding up well and seem to be handling the elements well. To be honest we rarely left our cans open for more than a few hours and I don't think it's rained so heavily in one processing day. The only complaint is that it was a bit of a hassle to install. Unlike other stickers, the backing did not peel off easily and each individual piece had to be carefully crafted.
