I bought a pair of these off eBay and the seller didn't state that there were multiple versions with the same model number. They didn't work (220V versions). So I bought two more from Revain and made sure they were the 12v versions (note the 220v versions lit up and worked at 12v but the relay inside didn't work). After replacing them in my homemade fridge for my truck, it works great. I bought two because the fridge has a double peltier unit. I am using a controller for the "main" cooling unit attached to the same heatsink. Therefore, one controller controls a peltier plate and both large cooling fans for optimal performance. The second controller only controls the second Peltier element. I have a temperature offset so the second unit is triggered when the main unit is unable to cool (like the fridge is open for a while etc.). Both work great and there is only a slight temperature difference between them (about 0.3Β°C). Also, I've configured mine to control two relays instead of having those controllers control the blocks directly. Although each Peltier unit draws less than 7 amps, and these controllers are rated for 10 amps, I didn't want to force anything.
