I've never used coasters before ordering them but they're driving everyone crazy (except my friend's mom, oops) and they still hold up. So far the only downside is that if the mug condenses and sits on it for a while when you pick up the mug the coaster comes with the coaster but then again I've never used coasters so this might be common.
