I wrote another similar review for a pair of black boots—I had to deliver a eulogy for a funeral and I needed a black long sleeved, long dress immediately…and I was broke. It’s not a bad dress, but it’s definitely cheap and won’t hold up to regular wear. It’s also a fur attractor, so good luck if you have several cats like we do. Also, and this is more a problem particular to me—if you are long/low waisted, give this a pass. I usually never buy waisted dresses because they end up around my rib cage, but I was in a rush and didn’t notice. Sure enough, it stayed on my rib cage and drove me crazy most of the night. But for the price and considering most people don’t have abnormally long waists like I do, it’s okay. Might want to wear dark tights, because it is slightly slightly see-through under office lighting. Luckily the funeral home has soft lighting, since I was front and center.Sometimes you can find great deals—that’s why I love thrift stores—but if you’re short on time and you have to buy something fast on Walmart, there is no variation to the rule: you get what you pay for.
