My 9 year old son loves this hat. He likes that it makes him feel like a ninja. I wanted him to have something like a hat and scarf combo and I knew it would work with both. It is very warm and will be cozy at the bus station in winter. The only thing we don't like about it is the adjusters on the ends of the strings on either side. We can't slip them to make it tighter. It doesn't seem to bother him too much. He accepts that he is free and does what he is supposed to do.
