There are no foam covers for the legs. The printed fabric looks very good. Cons: It is not what is pictured. The front "clasp" is sewn in the wrong direction. In the picture and in the film it is attached from right to left, while in our case it is sewn from left to right. In the picture the shoes are foam overshoes but we don't have them. For some this may be important. My son is 45 pounds 6 years old and the small size for 3-4 years is perfect for him.
