In the preface to this review I would like to say that I have only been using the pen for a few days. However, I totally agree with the "Mani Arabi" review. If you're used to crystal litter, you already know how it works (it absorbs urine and liquid in feces, therefore eliminating odors, and there are no clumps to eat), and this is a very good version of crystal litter because the particles are very small. I have an automatic tray without a scoop and use the forever tray, but the crystals you bought earlier to use it were really big and they piled up behind the rake. Since they are so tough my cat would want to jump out of the box to avoid stepping on them and they would run all over the place. Problems are gone with this litter - it's flat enough for a rake to easily pass through and while the cat doesn't seem to be chasing anything it costs a little more than other crystalline litters but in this case you really get what you pay for and I do Think what a few extra bucks are worth not vacuuming/sweeping alongside the constant anthill box (you can also subscribe and save to save 15%, and you can cancel at any time, even right after placing an order. However, they won (even with Prime, you don't get two-day shipping.) As for the reviewer who complained that the linens eventually got wet and started smelling -- that's the way it is with all crystal beds. Some cats pee more than others (Lord knows what mine do) and they "fill up" faster. It's not really a defect in this particular crystal filler, it's just the way the crystal filler works.
