Ultra Litter Pearl Crystals 3 5 Pound Review

Our two cats agree to use this litter. Before we came across this filler, we used two different types of fillers. It took two boxes per cat, one for each function. It should have been in one of them. Glad to use it. Few things cling to the mess. The downside is that our cats get it everywhere as soon as they come out of their crates. So at the exit of the room we have a 1/2 inch thick square rug to catch the leftover food.

I was looking for a replacement for another product I used to buy from Pet Smart but they no longer sold it. I mix Litter Pearls with another product, World's Best Clumping Filler, and they work great together. Both products may seem expensive at first, but I empty and completely throw out the litter box every day, replacing it with a new one every 3-4 weeks. UPDATE 03/02/13: This is a great product but almost doubled in price. Had to look for a cheaper alternative. I will not buy again until the price drops! I have been using crystal fillers for a few years now and they are fantastic. There is absolutely no smell or clumps of urine and the like. In my experience, all crystalline fillers work this way. I have used PETCO brand crystalline fillers in the past. It's a great litter, but the rocks are large and often get stuck between my cat's paws and are dragged into the room (or at least out of his litter box). These microcrystals are far superior to pet litter in the same price range. PROS: very good

In the preface to this review I would like to say that I have only been using the pen for a few days. However, I totally agree with the "Mani Arabi" review.
