Review on 🔳 Square Rail Mount Scotty #243-BK by Charles Julian

I have a 12 foot Lowe model 1236 Jon boat that I have installed them on. I wanted a permanent mount for my Scotty rod holders instead of Scotty clamp mounts. The problem with the clamp on the bindings was that they were unwieldy and sometimes came loose after all the trouble of lugging the rod in the holder. Although these brackets are square I was able to place them on a round gunwale on my boat see the photos I have included. I drilled two holes in the gunwale and attached it to the boat with screws from the mounting kit. I thought maybe the two screws weren't strong enough, but they are absolutely strong. Screws are more like Phillips head screws. Installation took less than ten minutes. I recommend for the price, quality and ease of installation.
