Do not submerge or microwave

Plate goes well with my 92 year old mother who likes to eat hot and takes her time with meals. However, if you microwave it for more than a minute OR put it back in the microwave before it has completely cooled, the bottom of the plate will come off. She used it for almost a year before the hotplate fell off and I replaced it with an identical one. I also found a microwavable adhesive to reattach the original and so far so good. I know this plate has mixed reviews but I think it's worth the investment, just follow the directions.
