Not very good, maybe good for monitoring a door

I bought it to monitor an entrance. When I bought this cloud service it was included. I had to contact tech support to get it working. It was easy enough but took a day. The camera's quality is good during the day, but "night vision" is functionally absent. There is no noticeable difference between night vision on and off. The IR illumination is not strong enough. My door and window sensors have never worked. I wonder if the problem is with my door - it has a slight curve which creates a very small gap between the door and the door frame. The parts of the sensor must be completely flush to trigger if they are spaced apart. The idea is that when the sensor is triggered, the camera immediately turns to face the sensor. In fact, I've never managed to achieve this. It's less important in my case, but if you're looking for something to monitor multiple login portals, this doesn't work. However, the built-in motion sensor works at the slightest change in lighting. At sunrise and sunset you get a series of "traffic alerts" that simply change the solar exposure as the sun rises and sets. This makes the motion sensor almost useless. The microphone works quite well. At least once the camera inexplicably disappeared from my app without any warning or notification. Then I had to reinstall the product. The only reason I noticed was that I didn't get any motion alerts for a while. It was an easy fix, but the camera wasn't recording and there was no notification to stop recording. To me, this invalidates it as a security tool. The essence of continuous monitoring is that it is continuous. "Sorry Mr. Smith, we have video evidence of your thief, but your camera hasn't recorded anything in over a week." This is an economical solution, but not the best. If you're protecting something important, invest in something better.

Not a suitable bulb-sized design
