These are definitely the strongest bed rail brackets you'll find at Revain. They are 1/8 inch thick and much larger than the others (5 3/16 and four screws instead of 3 1/2 inch and three screws), but when assembled they are no more rigid than the other styles. Don't get me wrong, they go together well, but based on other reviews about how difficult it was for people to put the two halves together, I figured I'd have to put them together. Not so. They fit well but there is a small gap they can fit. So make sure you attach them so that the side rails fit snugly against the headboard.
