The clamps on these aftermarket Chinese shocks have a much narrower slot than the OEM parts they replace. I was able to take my old ones off with my small screwdriver, but I couldn't unclip the clips to attach the new ones without buying an even smaller screwdriver. It's only 3.98, but add that to the cost of those hood mounts and they start to go up on their own. I have no idea what other aftermarket hood shock absorbers will work on my car, but I will caution you.
