I didn't think that a simple toilet valve could have a design flaw, but unfortunately I found it. This thing snaps into place and attaches to the handle very easily and quickly. Unfortunately, when you squeeze the handle, the arm goes up, the valve goes up, and then stays up. Because the valve levers are hard plastic and not rubber like the rest of the gasket, it won't go off. I've taken it on and off a few times and also adjusted between minimum and maximum fill a number of times and the result was the same every time. It rises but doesn't fall. I suppose if for some reason you had a toilet where you wished you had running water but literally NEVER flushed you would be fine (but why not just turn the water off?). It seals well, but is useless as a flush valve because it only opens and does not close.
