Through my mechanic, the local parts store offered me $450 to assemble the fan. Tried this one instead. I paid $100 for it and they charged $150 for installation. It worked fine for a week then stalled and wouldn't turn off when the car was turned off. Drained my battery overnight for the first time. Had to return it and the mechanic spent two hours checking all the components associated with the fan and found that they were all working properly so the fan controller must be the problem. I ordered a similar part from Rock Auto for $169 and had my mechanic install it, no problems so far, the fan doesn't stay on when the car is off. I cannot recommend this cheap fan as mine was defective. It matched my 2013 Volkswagen Jetta sports car. After having to pay to have various fans installed, I would have been better off paying just $450 to my local parts store rather than trying to buy them from Revain.
