As contractors, sometimes we don't always have the luxury of wired under cabinet lighting. This product can be used for many purposes but I have used it for under cabinet lighting as I suspect a lot of people do. This rating is for under cabinet use/application. Everything worked great as a basic product and was easy to assemble - just by rating the product I give it 5 stars, but in base cabinet use it gets 4 to 4.5 stars. When used as under cabinet lighting, LED strips are 1.5" too long to fit under 12" wide cabinets without modifying the cabinets. I've been trying to get some good work lighting under the cabinets, so plan for two LED strips under each 12-18 inch cabinet in this case. If it's just accent lighting (not task lighting) one strip every 12 to 18 inches is enough and then you can place the strip diagonally under the 12 inch cabinets and everything will fit in just fine, but once you see a room with two light sources. , it's hard not to use additional lighting to make it look really good. The color of the light is normal to good - warm enough for most people to be comfortable with. The reduction in the number of stars in this application is due to the need to use two strips. to get reliable work lighting, and the fact that LED strips do not fit under 12" cabinets - only washers will easily fit under 12" cabinets. Installation was very easy. Duct tape is found on every tape, zip tie, and switch fabrication. very easy to install. I taped everything in place - moving it around was easy with tape. Position everything correctly, then go back with the included screws and secure all the pieces in place; Wrap the extra cable last. very surprised that the installation went very well the first time I used it. You can go to a big store and buy 3 LED pucks for about $50, but the lack of configuration due to the length of the cable made this product a better fit for my application. You may have additional parts left - keep them for the next installation. I love this set; I will buy again - great problem solving and easy installation!
