I was skeptical as I have ordered several night gowns before and they were not %100 cotton although advertised as it was and if it is not I won't wear it so end up returning many. This is very pretty, %100 cotton, thick, nice material and all done so nicely. I like it a lot, washed before I wear and it came out very nice. I washed it with very hot water with other clothes and spined the fastest cycle. Came out so perfect and did not dye any whites. I recommend this night gown. It does not look like a grandma style, still feminine and warm for cold winter nights. True to the size. I a 5'7 and 197lbs I ordered a large. Very flattering fit. I hope this helps.
