Works temporarily, definitely not permanently.
It works as shown in the pictures and other purchases...except: It's not something that can be used forever - if it lasts that long - It's fairly cheaply made. .Plastic is suitable for small pets, but if you keep a child or large dog away, it cannot withstand weight or force. The clear plastic handles (which help move the device back and forth) break easily. .Both of mine broke in half with little to no effort. That's a reasonable price for a temporary fix. But I wouldn't waste your time.
