Review on Automatic Garden Watering System: Riemex 360° Rotating Sprinkler For Lawn Irrigation by Romas Pennington

More entertainment value than utility in my view

After finally being able to put the "Riemex Garden Sprinkler 360 Degree Rotating Lawn Automatic Garden Water Sprinklers Irrigation System" to test I am underwhelmed at best. Despite the long-winded name and claim, there is no system, just a twirling bright blue sprinkler with very limited range. At best this sprinkler works for small areas. It will certainly keep a tiny space or side yard saturated, but it is overmatched for a typical yard in the suburbs. You can adjust it to send the water skyward like a combined tornado and gyser in one, which would also make it a good toy for small children on a summer's day. In fact, you can can the spray pattern on the three nozzles a variety of ways and create myriad patterns of water, which might be a more entertaining than utilitarian feature.I've been spoiled by my old-school sprinklers that do a better job at waterning the grass and border gardens than this one, which requires constant moving about because of its limited range. I cannot figure out why the words "heavy duty" are used in relation to this plastic sprinkler. It has some metal underpinning to keep it balanced, but nothing about this twirly-bird suggests heavy duty. I would look elsewhere.
