My back hurt from bending over my standard folding table to make patterns and cut fabrics. I thought that's the way it should be. Then I was lucky enough to find these risers. I'm 5ft 7" and have bought bigger ones. My desk is now the perfect working height. It's a few inches above my waist. They were so easy to install that I did it myself in about 3 minutes without moving the table (other than up). I found out (um) that you need to clean up your desk first. I could live without a sticker on each foot showing the manufacturer's website, but if they really bothered me I'd remove them with a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and some Goo Gone. They are durable, easy to install and not very noticeable. Give up your craft, suffer from back pain or buy an expensive special table.
