The installation/connection of the device is very simple. The guide is good, easy to follow and can be filled out on the MicroCell website. Activation caused me a few problems. After the first 90 minutes of work to complete activation, I blinked a red network light. I've followed the troubleshooting steps to unplug from the wall outlet and wait at least a minute (I waited 3 minutes) to reconnect to the wall outlet. The manual says the reconfiguration will take about 30 minutes, it took me an hour and the same thing happened. Flashing red indicator! I called AT&T support, a very good rep, but was basically told that these 'old light devices', even though they were new, wouldn't work properly with the GPS configuration - that was my problem in the Error message. – and even the new black ones too. AT&T support offered to buy a new smartphone with a Wi-Fi calling option and use it to make cell phone calls. Not wanting to give up and take this as an answer, I went online into my MicroCell account and actually deactivated/deactivated the MicroCell account. Then I tried to recover my account, but initially the device serial number was not accepted. So I turned everything off. I opened the window and placed the device on the windowsill to get the best GPS reception. waited 30 minutes. I returned to the website and was able to register the device again. I plugged the power adapter into an outlet. The device restarted the download process and after an hour I had 5 strips! I've had it for several hours and no matter where I go in my house I have 5 bars! I only have 3 bars outside! I think everything is fine now and I'm definitely happy with this device. I was lucky, I searched carefully and got the best deal I could find - at Revain. I found a seller with a new unit cheaper than any other offer on Revain or anywhere else on the web! So be persistent in your search and don't take AT&T's answers for the truth!
