Don't worry, it doesn't work properly. Faulty AC outlet

I bought this to charge my phone and laptop in the car. . The AC port for my laptop is completely non functional, not working so I am frustrated what a waste of time I need to get something else that is not so flimsy. I've read reviews that for some this thing basically blew up, even two extra 12V port cigarette lighters don't work! In addition, the cable should be longer, it doesn't reach anywhere anyway, and the cup itself is too small, it slips out of any cup holder that isn't deep enough. Pooh
