My son is 7 years old and has just switched to size 8 pants and tops in his school uniform. Ordered this set for a family wedding. I liked that the waist was adjustable, figured I could tighten it like his school pants. But when he put the pants on it turned out to be MUCH small in the waist, like a two inch gap! He couldn't even close them. Oddly enough, the vest fitted perfectly. Maybe the pants were just mislabeled, but they were also a bit too long.
