I ordered this to join my daughter's single beds together. My youngest always insists on getting out of bed and climbing in with her older sister. Needless to say I was worried they didn't have enough space and one of them fell off the bed. This product has been beautifully packaged in a reusable bag with a set of simple instructions. I have to say it was pretty easy to install (would have been easier if the bed wasn't against the wall and if I had someone more able than a two and four year old to help me). I would say overall it does the job but the piece that runs between the two mattresses could be a bit thicker and longer so it doesn't protrude from under the two mattresses. There was a fairly long stretch of strap that dangled, but I was able to just tuck it in so it wasn't visible or noticeable.
