Review on ๐Ÿถ The Honest Kitchen Whole Food Clusters: Human Grade Dry Dog Food with Cage Free Chicken, Turkey, and Ranch Raised Beef by Amy Smith

Revainrating 4 out of 5

TIP: The ยฃ1 bag includes a $5 coupon for a full-size bag in-store!

Pellet Size: Standard but softer to the touch making it easier for dogs to chew than regular extruded pellets. My picky little dog prefers chicken/duck meat over beef, so I'm guessing he likes birds over land animals. She also doesn't like kibble enough to work for him so I have to give her a small piece for him to eat. I've tried many brands but the one I (she) went with beforehand was Stella and Chewy's raw coated chicken feed (little dog). My dog food budget is quite high because I threw away many of the pieces after she refused to eat them for days! Every piece I don't have to throw away is worth my money! I bought a 1 pound bag of chicken and beef to try. I didn't like that the beef cuts got bigger and I was afraid she wouldn't eat them. Imagine my surprise when she always finished the beef first! The chicken slice was burned (see photo), that could be the problem. It's cheaper than the previous brand but still great quality so I'm happy to add it to my rotation! It's also nice to see a $5 coupon for a ยฃ1 bag so you can essentially try it for free if you end up buying a full size bag at your local store!

Pros
  • MINIMAL PROCESSING: Clusters are made by blending small batches of fresh ingredients, cold pressing into small clusters, and then gently roasting and slowly dehydrating to preserve the nutrients, aroma and flavor of whole foods.
