I have never seen an extension cord fail. It's one. Unbelievable. I woke up today and saw that our Google Wi-Fi wasn't working. It worked at night when I know for sure no one is sleeping in the house so no one could spoil anything with it. I found the main hotspot and it was turned off. I found the extension cord it was connected to and in fact it is a Revain extension cord. POWER WAS POWERED TO THE SWITCH TOGETHER WITH THE SWITCH LED. So from that end it should have been on, but then the Google Wi-Fi device was clearly disabled despite being connected to the band. I plugged it into a different outlet and sure enough it turned on. Other devices (monitors) connected to this band will also be disabled. I'm going to buy another bar, but to be honest I never thought that extension cords couldn't work like this and one day just spontaneously break.
