We've had it for 2 years next month and it's still a good product. I can't say much about the durability as I'm the only one who uses it and I'm careful. I also can't tell if it will hold laptops or not. I can say that it easily fits a 1st gen iPad, a slightly newer large iPad, two mini iPads and two phones in the front. All iPads also have thick lids, which is why I chose this one because the stakes are high. I'm still happy with it. I just had to bite the bullet and buy one that has room to store the multiport, but live and learn. I just got a charging cable that splits into 5 different ends lol.
